Nick,

You captured our home well… Thank you! I can remember visiting Colorado as a child and wanting to move there, and actually came fairly close. But something happened to me on day while talking with my Grandfather on the rice farm where I was raised, and it all clicked – I was were I belonged, an I was proud to be from Louisiana.

I can’t imagine raising my two children any other place on earth. And I can’t imagine a better family for you to visit (except mine maybe)!

Thank you for the honest depiction of our beloved culture!

Wonderful story, Nick. I feel transported to that wedding in that field. I’ve visited New Brunswick where the Cajuns came from and there’s a very similar culture up there. Lots of music with open and wise people in a land that shapes them. And when is the next Cajun zydeco band coming to eTown?

Oh and congratulations on the new glassed-in entry to eTown Hall… it looks great!!
