Scottish singer/songwriter and newcomer Alexi Murdoch has been described as having the “voice of Nick Drake” and the “lyrical gifts of Harry Chapin.” Alexi first appeared on the LA music scene last February and began immediately captivating audiences at the Mint, Hotel Café, and Troubadour with his subtly hypnotic and moving music. In August of 2002 he recorded his first EP, Four Songs, which has since been highly praised by music directors and audiences nationwide. Making his etown debut, Alexi will share these tunes, and most likely a few new ones, as he is currently working on his debut full-length album.
