Through February of 2010 I worked at KSWD-FM and ran the show here in Los Angeles. eTown is without doubt the BEST syndicated public affairs program in existence.
-Listener Lee Elliot, Redondo Beach, California

Thank you again for the opportunity to be on eTown, and for re-airing the broadcast. I received several donations and requests to volunteer, even more than I received after the first broadcast. It’s support I would not have had otherwise!
-E-Chievement Award Winner Anne Hallum, Florida International Alliance for Reforestation

This program offers some of the most inspiring things I hear each week. I often weep with joy when I listen. Keep passing it on. I will do the same.
-Listener John Barton, Wasilla, Alaska

Even if it’s a repeat, you should broadcast eTown twice a week. I can’t get enough…
-Listener Greg Barlow, Paramount, California

I’d been trying to think of what to get as a birthday present for my mother… then I heard the E-Chievement Award about the Zienzele Foundation and their work to provide education and financial support to children orphaned by AIDs, by selling baskets they and their caregivers make. The two baskets I ordered arrived with a note explaining that my purchase had paid for eleven children to go to school for a year! Here is this great little non-profit but they have a hard time getting the word out … and then eTown becomes this bridge… I have to wonder how many people that you never hear from are like me, compelled to do something because of what they hear on your show. Thanks for what you do!
-Listener Travis Julia, Telluride, Colorado– re: E-Chievement Award Winner Nancy Clark, Founder of the Zienzele Foundation, West Topsham, Vermont

Your hour is a breath of fresh air. Thanks for keeping the music — and smart talk — alive.
-Listener Eric Boardman, Los Angeles, California

We received multiple donations and heard from tons of people outside of Colorado who were specifically interested in starting a community kitchen like SAME in their areas because they heard us on eTown. We also had offers to volunteer — this is great for us!
-E-Chievement Award Winners Libby & Brad Birkey, SAME Café, Denver, Colorado, Feeding the hungry

In places where it is often difficult to find like-minded connections for social stimulation and growth, eTown has become like an old friend passing through sharing news, a new story and song. Thanks for being a window into a much bigger world, illuminating a community I may have never seen otherwise.
-Tim Robertson, Hannibal, Missouri

I’m astonished at the number of people that have contacted me, having heard the show. Keep up the great work!
-E-Chievement Award Winner Tracy Noel, Youth Garden Project at the Corvallis Environmental Center Corvallis, Oregon
