S.A.M.E. Café (So All May Eat):

Libby & Brad co-founded this nonprofit restaurant to provide healthy food in a respectful and dignified manner to anyone who walks through the door. The café lacks set menus and prices for organic meals created by Brad, a trained chef. People pay what they felt their meal was worth, or may leave a little more and help out someone less fortunate. If a diner lacks funds, they are encouraged (but not required) to exchange an hour of service. The Birkys developed this idea after years of volunteering at food banks and shelters, where they saw increasing numbers of all kinds of people in need. At the time of the original broadcast, they had served over 50,000 people at SAME cafe.
