Narayan founded Helping Hands Health Education in 1992. This non-profit organization sends volunteer western medical practitioners to his home country of Nepal to set up medical relief clinics and to educate and train Nepali health professionals. They have been saving countless lives and bringing much needed medical attention to those who normally have no such source of health care. More than 1,000 medical professionals from the United States and Canada have served in these camps and clinics and nearly 250,000 people have received needed health services.
