Brendan James - eTownFebruary 22, 2018

Homevibe & eTown present Brendan James & Seth Glier

For those who have followed Brendan James from his 2008 major label debut to his current ranking among today’s top troubadours, the journey has been a pretty remarkable one. Born in New Hampshire, schooled in Chapel Hill, signed by Capitol Records by the age of 25, and road-tested with a thousand shows to date, James has certainly lived the life of a troubadour. His songs have landed spots on over 15 major television shows and feature films and he’s achieved the #1 Singer Songwriter spot on iTunes, multiple times. He has formed relationships with music legends Carly Simon and Cat Stevens, enjoyed on-stage experiences with the likes of John Legend, John Mayer, and Paula Cole, and recently been asked to give a TedTalk on gun violence, love songs, and simpler societies.

Sun Jr. - eTownMarch 02, 2018

Homevibe & eTown present Sun Jr. w/ Bella Duro

Sun Jr. is a electric folk and blues, indie rock outfit based in Boulder, CO that isn’t afraid to jam a song out or drench a pedal steel in reverb and psychedelic effects. You may hear influences from The Doors, My Morning Jacket, Father John Misty, Avett Bros. or Jack White, but they truly write and play music the only way they know how as a band of misfits and artist. While recognizing they are the sons of those who have long blazed the trail they’d hardly consider themselves trailblazers, but instead just a group of guys who love creating and hanging out over good tunes.

Sandstone presents Ottmar Liebert

Ottmar Liebert’s musical style can be described as a mix of Spanish, Mexican and World elements, strong melodies tinged with a shade of melancholy, balanced with upbeat rhythms. Liebert’s album ‘Nouveau Flamenco’, recorded for less than $3,000 on an old analog machine in a shack beside a gravel pit, became an international sensation, establishing  Liebert’s unique border-style flamenco, and has become the best-selling instrumental acoustic guitar album of all time. Join us at eTown Hall for an intimate evening with Ottmar Liebert.
