Barenaked Ladies
Toronto's Barenaked Ladies, founded in 1988 by singer-guitarists Steven Page and Ed Robertson, have sold over fourteen million records worldwide on the heels of hits like "One Week," "Pinch Me" and "Brian Wilson." Along the way, they have developed a dedicated following, and a reputation as one of North America's best-loved live acts.

Catie Curtis
Catie Curtis crafts a potent mix of anthemic rock rhythms, dark, heart-worn ballads and giddy pop harmonies. Originally from rural Maine, Catie came to Boston as part of the burgeoning indie music scene of the early nineties. Over the course of a number of studio albums and extensive touring, Catie has developed a rapturous following and an enviable reputation. Critics have called her "a folk-pop goddess" and her songs have been featured on television shows including Felicity, Dawson's Creek, Chicago Hope, and others.

e-chievement award: Hannah Taylor, The Ladybug Foundation
Hannah is 12 years old. At age 5, she was deeply troubled as she witnessed a homeless man eating out of a garbage can. She began to learn about homelessness and spent time in shelters. She met and befriended homeless people and those who work with them. At age 6 she founded The Ladybug Foundation, a Canadian nonprofit which supports her efforts to spread awareness of homelessness and to raise funds to assist charities which provide food, shelter, and other needs of the homeless and near-homeless in Canada. Since beginning, over $1 million has been raised, and Hannah has educated tens of thousands of citizens young and old about important issues related to homelessness. Nov 09 UPDATE: Hannah is holding the annual Ladybug Foundation Red Scarf Campaign. Proceeds go to help Canadian hunger and homelessness. The campaign always runs from November until the end of February. She encourages all to wear the red scarf on 'National Red Scarf Day' – January 31st - in support of efforts to defeat hunger and homelessness.
