 Hot Buttered Rum e-chievement award: Lorraine Kerwood, NextStep Recycling orraine founded this nonprofit to repair, reuse and recycle computers and other electronic gear, and to provide job training to the unemployed or underemployed. Volunteers repair donated computers which are then gifted to low income and disadvantaged people in their community and beyond. They also sell refurbished computers to the public via a re-use store, and they responsibly recycle computers and other electronic waste which cannot be re-purposed. They have kept over 2 million pounds of e-waste from landfills, and donated over 30,000 computers to folks in need all over the world.
