INTERVIEW: AMY GOODMAN
Appearing this week is Tony Furtado. An established master of the banjo, Tony has expanded his musical horizons with the guitar, and brings some of his latest work to the etown stage. We were also fortunate to bring to etown some of the cast from the play, “Fire on the Mountain”, playing traditional Appalachian music and telling stories of the coal mining families in West Virginia and Kentucky. Also Nick Forster interviews Amy Goodman, host and executive producer of the independent daily news program “Democracy Now!”, and there’s a special e-chievement award winner too, all in this week’s etown.
