This week features a bunch of talented folk, including Abigail Washburn (a singing, songwriting, Illinois-born, Nashville-based clawhammer banjo player and vocalist – and personal friend of ours – who joins us to share some songs from her recent work, City of Refuge. Jimmie Dale Gilmore, who is a longtime member of the super-cool band The Flatlanders as well as a legendary musical veteran with three Grammy nominations of his own, is also with us. The Wronglers (featuring Warren Hellman) back Jimmie Dale up with their old-time sound. There’s also a touching E-Chievement Award story from a hometown hero in California.
