This week, It’s part two of our ‘eTown on the Road’ re-broadcast from the great state of Washington, with musical visitors Cake, Danny Barnes and Eliza Gilkyson. eTown traveled to the Northwest in 2011 to participate in ‘Celebrate Elwha’, a multi-day event commemorating the nation’s largest dam removal project. (In the early 1900’s these two privately installed dams were built, choking the Elwha River, decimating its native salmon population and negatively impacting the environment as well as the local economy; it’s been a several decade community effort to get them removed.)  We’ll also feature a remarkable E-Chievement Award winner who is helping to implement green programs at schools in the area.
