Biography

Ethan joined the Boulder Engineering Company in 1998. As a Senior Associate with over ten years of experience in all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering Ethan acts as a lead engineer and primary project manager for the firm. Ethan’s main focus is mechanical systems design with an emphasis on energy efficiency and simplicity. He is also the company’s primary LEED resource and has designed for numerous LEED projects. Ethan continues to keep abreast of the latest technologies and design approaches to find the most appropriate and efficient systems for his clients.

Prior to joining the Boulder Engineering Company, Ethan managed industrial waste water systems as a consulting field engineer. Projects spanned multiple industries and included sites all over the United States, in Mexico and in several countries in Asia. In this role Ethan gained valuable hands on experience with process piping, electrical systems, controls, and subcontractor management.

Ethan has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at San Diego. He received his P.E. in 2000.

An avid mountaineer and snowboarder, Ethan enjoys spending his free time exploring the outdoors with his family.
