eTown is a nonprofit, nationally syndicated radio broadcast, multimedia and events production company. Our mission is to educate, entertain and inspire a diverse audience through music and conversation in order to create a socially responsible and environmentally sustainable world.
Winners are nominated by our listeners and interviewed on-air about their extraordinary community work. Stories range from feeding the hungry to cleaning up the environment to housing the homeless.
As eTown’s host, Nick nimbly walks the line between musician & radio journalist, playing an array of instruments with world-class musicians then switching gears to engage those artists in conversation live on stage. As co-host, Helen lends her golden-toned voice to both the spoken word & musical portions of the show.
eTown gives a voice to the people who are fighting the good fight.
Natalie Merchant (Musician)
A very big appreciation to you and eTown’s effort in appreciating what people do to affect their community the best they know how. I listen to eTown mostly for the eChievement Award and general insightful news and educative information.
Listener Nii Nortey, Albany, NY
Keep up the excellent work! Best radio ever!

Listener James Matlock, Belpre, OH
