eTown is a nonprofit, nationally syndicated radio broadcast, multimedia and events production company. Our mission is to educate, entertain and inspire a diverse audience through music and conversation in order to create a socially responsible and environmentally sustainable world.
Winners are nominated by our listeners and interviewed on-air about their extraordinary community work. Stories range from feeding the hungry to cleaning up the environment to housing the homeless.
As eTown’s host, Nick nimbly walks the line between musician & radio journalist, playing an array of instruments with world-class musicians then switching gears to engage those artists in conversation live on stage. As co-host, Helen lends her golden-toned voice to both the spoken word & musical portions of the show.
We're so proud to be back.

It's just incredible how the charm of an old building is enhanced by creative innovations, from environmental to acoustical, so that music can be played, taped, captured, and streamed right from the heart of Boulder.
Mike Gordon (Phish)
It was absolutely uplifting to be a part of a show building community and a better world through incredible live music and the stories of individuals who, like the eTown folks, are making a difference!
Award winner Lara Mendel, The Mosaic Project, Oakland, CA
Why do I listen to eTown? Nick's got a remarkable talent for interviewing - you can tell the guests genuinely appreciate the thoughtful questions Nick asks.
