"Ruptak performs with raw, wild soul. His raspy voice channels a sound beyond his years, like a railroad bluesman trapped in a mountaineer's heart." ~Luke Redfield
"Leaving the earth bare and naked and ashamed, but somehow grateful...Anthony sings backwards into the afternoon, over the land." ~ The Denver Syntax
A pure voice is a rare find and Theresa Peterson has found hers, both as a singer and a songwriter. Her smooth tone echoes the ease of singers like Joni Mitchell and Alison Krauss, floating between octaves with melodies that stretch the line between old and new. Peterson's lyrics paint pictures, buckle knees and leave a sense of depravity and hope, wrapped up in unique chord structures and alternate tunings. She dives deep into the bottomless wells of love, death and life with her storytelling and touches the intangible through photographic lyrics.
