Cousin Curtiss produces rootstomp music at its finest. Lyrics with meaning. Vocality with power. Guitar with fury. Stomp with soul. And the guy plays harmonica like his hair's on fire. Cousin Curtiss's finger-picking style is reminiscent of John Butler, his harp playing is on par with John Popper, and his loop jams are straight out of Keller Williams handbook. His one-man-band, ceaselessly-energized performance is designed to move people. Ever practiced. Never the same. Always entertaining.
Carolyn is lead singer and songwriter of local band The Heartstring Hunters. The Heartstring Hunters are an indie-folk band based in Boulder, CO. Rich harmonies, youthful optimism and stories-from-the-road characterize a sound that invites you into a musical conversation between friends, an adventure that dances between the space of the open road and a midnight sky.
The Heartstring Hunters will be releasing their debut EP this winter and while many listeners lovingly match Nicely’s lead vocals to the tones of Joni Mitchell, their new music also incorporates other times and influences such as Feist, Lavender Diamond and Matt Corby.
With a mixture of Soul, Folk, and Pop, Andrew Sturtz garners comparisons to Amos Lee, Martin Sexton, and others. For over 15 years, Andrew has performed throughout many venues within the Michigan and the Chicago area. Though, after taking a break from live performance in 2014, Andrew is picking up where he left off in his new home of Colorado. Reinvigorated by a vibrant community and new inspiration, an album is in the works for Summer of 2017.
