City and Colour is the acclaimed project of Canadian songwriter Dallas Green, whose music has long balanced hushed intimacy with emotional weight. Performing songs from his latest release The Love Still Held Me Near and beyond, Dallas continues to explore what it means to heal and lean into connection. His friend and collaborator Matt Kelly joins.

We’re also joined by mmeadows, the New York City-based duo of Kristin Slipp and Cole Kamen-Green, whose art pop centers on closeness and clarity. With backgrounds that include Dirty Projectors as well as arranging music for Beyoncé, Harry Styles and Diana Ross, Kristin and Cole bring rare depth and collaboration to every song.

Our interview guest is Jon Goldstein, Associate Vice President of Energy Transition at Environmental Defense Fund, who leads efforts to cut methane pollution from the oil and gas industry across North America. A former cabinet secretary in New Mexico and longtime journalist, Jon joins host Nick Forster to talk about climate policy, energy solutions and the human stories behind environmental action.
