This week on eTown, Nashville’s The Brook & The Bluff join us with songs from their new album, Werewolf, while Los Angeles singer-songwriter Lucy Clearwater shares music from her debut album, People ≠ Possessions. eTown host Nick Forster also talks with Silvio Marcacci, Senior Director of Communications at Energy Innovation, about the current state of the environmental movement.

The Brook & The Bluff have spent the past decade turning their love of classic rock into a distinctly modern indie-rock sound. After years of near-constant touring, the band captures the energy of its live shows on Werewolf, and we welcome them to eTown for their debut appearance where they share songs from that album.

Los Angeles singer-songwriter Lucy Clearwater pairs folk and Americana songwriting with a background in classical violin and a talent for turning personal experiences into intimate songs. She’s a winner of the 2024 Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk Competition, and her debut album, People ≠ Possessions, arrived earlier this year. This is also her first appearance on eTown.

Also, Silvio Marcacci, Senior Director of Communications at Energy Innovation, joins Nick to talk about the current state of the environmental movement and the changing landscape for climate and clean energy policy in the United States.
