Celebrating 34 years of music, ideas, & community on the radio
Daniel Rodriguez, Dead Horses and interview guest Matt Richtel

Join us as we revisit the first live taping in eTown Hall for over two years after the shutdown! This show features local Boulder, Colorado hero, Daniel Rodriguez, of Elephant Revival fame, as well as Sarah Voss and Daniel Wolff of the band Dead Horses. eTown host Nick Forster also sits down with Matt Richtel, author of An Elegant Defense: The Extraordinary Science of the Immunity System, for a short chat.

Songwriter Daniel Rodriguez creates acoustic folk rooted in heartfelt storytelling and warm melodic lines. A founding member of Elephant Revival, he now offers a solo voice shaped by resilience, curiosity and the Colorado landscape he calls home. He’s a great friend of the show, and we are lucky to have Daniel living in our backyard.

Dead Horses is the Wisconsin duo of Sarah Vos and Dan Wolff. Their latest album Brady Street showcases their growth as writers and performers, moving from intimate acoustic moments to wider rhythmic textures. Their music centers on empathy, hope and the search for beauty in everyday life.

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Matt Richtel joins Nick for a conversation about his book An Elegant Defense and what the immune system reveals about the human experience. Known for blending science and narrative, he brings curiosity and insight to complex ideas about how we live today.
