This week on eTown, Grammy- nominated singer and songwriter John Fullbright joins us for his first visit to eTown with his powerful southern country/ rock sound. This 25-year-old Americana/ folk musician and blues vocalist has been compared to the likes of Woody Guthrie. Also joining us is Canadian indie artist Afie Jurvanen, performing under the moniker “Bahamas.” Self-taught on guitar, Jurvanen has worked with such musicians as Feist, Howie Beck, and Jason Collett, and shares an intimate collection of stripped-down acoustic songs. There’s lots of great music, conversation and another uplifting in-person E-Chievement Award winner providing the homeless with an everyday item we take for granted.
