This week, we revisit a broadcast featuring Canadian singer-songwriter Kathleen Edwards, returning to the eTown stage alongside guitarist and longtime collaborator Gord Tough. Since her 2002 debut Failer, Kathleen has carved out a distinctive place in North American roots music, blending alt-country, folk and heartland rock. Her performance this week highlights the wit, vulnerability and melodic craft that have made her one of the genre’s most enduring voices.

Also joining us is Northern Colorado singer-songwriter Cary Morin, whose soulful voice and intricate fingerstyle guitar have earned him international acclaim. A member of the Crow Nation, Cary draws on blues, folk and roots traditions, weaving storytelling and musicianship into songs shaped by his heritage and life on the road.

This episode offers a close-up look at two compelling artists whose music bridges tradition and story.
