Trevor Hall and Max Gomez (Part Two)

This is part two of our show with Trevor Hall and Max Gomez.

Also on this episode, we replay Nick’s conversation with the co-originator of Earth Day, Denis Hayes.

Trevor Hall

Trevor Hall is a genre-blending singer-songwriter known for his mix of folk, roots, and spiritual influences. Raised on a small island in South Carolina, Hall began studying classical guitar in high school at Idyllwild Arts Academy. By sixteen, he had signed a major label deal but eventually chose independence to maintain creative freedom.

Since going independent in 2017, Trevor has built a global following, selling hundreds of thousands of albums and amassing billions of streams. His music—personal, poetic, and powerful—has taken him to stages around the world, including multiple sold-out performances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Max Gomez

Singer-songwriter Max Gomez grew up in Taos, New Mexico, where early exposure to country blues helped shape his distinctive songwriting style. His 2013 debut album Rule the World (New West Records) earned critical acclaim, followed by the 2017 EP Me and Joe, which featured the fan favorite “Make It Me.”

Max honed his craft in northern New Mexico’s rich folk scene, mentored by artists like Michael Martin Murphey and Ray Wylie Hubbard. He’s since shared stages with legends including James McMurtry, Patty Griffin, John Hiatt and Jeff Beck.

Now a rising voice in Americana, he is set to release his new album Memory Mountain in July.
