eTown has been at the forefront of music, ideas, and community for 3o years. eTown Founder, Nick Forster, will be hosting a City Council Candidates Arts Forum at eTown Hall and we want you to be there!

Between now and the upcoming election in November 2021, we have a unique opportunity to build a majority on the council that supports the arts!  Four current council members whose terms are up this year will NOT be running again:  Sam Weaver, Mary Young, Adam Swetlik and Mirabai Nagle. Mark Wallach, will also be running for re-election.

Of four remaining council members whose terms are up in 2024, three – Junie Joseph, Aaron Brockett and Rachel Friend – supported increasing the capital tax funding available for nonprofit capital projects from 10% to 20%.   A strong, pro-arts City Council is within reach!

A City Council Candidates Arts Forum is an opportunity for you to hear from the candidates and to show that the arts community (staff, volunteers, board members, volunteers, supporters, and patrons) is sizeable and active in local elections.  As important, it is an opportunity to educate the candidates about the critical importance of arts and culture to Boulder’s social, emotional, and economic well-being.

Masks will be required for this event.
