Bold, experimental music from the 17th century collides with Spoken Word and Hip Hop Dance in an original blended performance that bends genres, tapping into the power of art "in the moment" and the nature of memory and hope.

Acclaimed spoken word performing artist Assétou Xango joins Baroque violinist Cynthia Miller Freivogel, six musicians, and three dancers from the Lion Heart Dance Crew. Original improvisations, plus music of Castello, Biber, Bach, Marini and Buxtehude, all performed on period instruments.
