eTown's Handmade Songs Series debuts in Fort Collins after five years in Boulder! Handmade Songs is a songwriting program for high school students to exhibit and expand their creativity while learning about music production in a professional setting. Young songwriters will be selected to perform at a special showcase at the Fort Collins Armory on Thursday, March 30th. Of these artists, five finalists receive the opportunity to record their original composition in eTown's state-of-the-art recording studios with industry professionals.

eTown's Handmade Songs Series is a vibrant opportunity for young artists to navigate the steps between inspiration and a final product at a highly professional level. Join us on March 30 at 7:00pm for a night of great music and friendly competition!

Guidelines

• All genres and styles of music are welcome
• All songs have to be original compositions
• All songs have to include vocals and lyrics
• Each student should submit an mp3 recording of your song
• Each student should submit lyrics

The Finalists Receive:

• An opportunity to record their original song in eTown’s state-of-the-art recording studio!
• Collaboration with a professional producer and production crew
• Mentorship on navigating the music industry
• A polished version of their song in eTown’s Handmade Songs Ft Collins CD Volume 1
• A video of their recording process
