Maji Safi Group (www.majisafigroup.org) invites children and their families to enjoy an exciting and fun afternoon at eTown Hall! This ‘pay-as-you-can’ show will feature jump roping, juggling, singing and a professional magic show. The show will also offer information about Maji Safi Group’s work with children in rural Tanzania and our ‘young global citizen’ program where youths along the Front Range learn about global issues and social responsibility.
Bake and Soap Sale
This fall, students from Lester Lurie’s leadership class at Casey Middle School are doing a Global Improvement Project with Maji Safi Group. These ‘young global citizens’ will be selling baked goods and handmade soap, so please be good customers to support their dedicated efforts.
Water Bottle Sale - $20
Branded Maji Safi Group water bottles will be for sale. The water bottles will hold a wide variety of prizes – ice cream coupons, CU buffalo Lego sets, water toys, activities at Gateway Park, climbing at the Boulder Rock Club, etc.
JumpNrope
The Mad Hops Competitive Jump Rope Team is a nonprofit organization based in Louisville, CO. Our competitive jump rope team is comprised of 40+ kids, ranging from five to 25 years old. The team, founded and coached by World Champion Molly Metz and her staff at JumpNrope Gym, is one of the largest teams in the nation and consistently ranks among the best in the world in speed, power, and freestyle events.
High Altitude
High Altitude is the top a cappella ensemble from Boulder High School, directed by Mary Bateman. The ensemble is comprised of select students who display exceptional musicianship and ability. High Altitude performs a wide variety of music ranging from 16th century madrigals to innovative arrangements of today's hits.
Ann Lincoln
Ann Lincoln’s goal as an entertainer is to be memorable, genuine, dynamic and unique. An Ann Lincoln show contains comedy, expert juggling and circus skills, magic – involving birds, bunnies and audience members – and might even include Ann juggling two bowling balls while eating an apple!
