For the third straight year, Maji Safi Group is filling eTown Hall with infectious music by local favorite Espresso!, delicious food, an open bar, entertaining fundraising games, and a holiday market with authentic African art and fabrics as well as donated items from your favorite Boulder businesses. Maji Safi Group is a Boulder-based nonprofit, and this fun-filled event supports our efforts to improve health in rural Tanzania through water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) education, behavioral change and the promotion of healthy lifestyles. Espresso!

Espresso! - eTown

The Colorado-based band Espresso! makes the traditions of the past come alive by merging American Swing and Gypsy Jazz into red-hot interpretations that feature instrumental leads and vocals in French and English. Espresso! offers an abundance of Colorado talent: Bill Pontarelli (clarinet), Jordan Ramsey (mandolin), Emily Reynolds (guitar), Duane Webster (bass) and Alexios Anest (guitar). Bill and Emily have performed Gypsy Jazz and American Swing at Colorado venues for many years. Jordan Ramsey came on board in 2010. Duane Webster has been putting it all together since 2016 to create their saucy swing sound. Alexios Anest joined recently, adding blistering leads characterized by fast sequences of stunning notes.
