Join us for a rare, behind-the-scenes afternoon with the visionaries, makers and artists behind Cosmogenesis: The Story of Us®, a bold, Boulder-born multimedia, immersive creative work that weaves science, art, music, and meaning.

Meet the writer and artists. Hear the origin stories. Feel the creative pulse that brought Cosmogenesis to life – and discover where it’s headed next.

Cosmogenesis: The Story of Us® is an immersive, fulldome, multimedia, live stage production that explores belonging, identity, and personal transformation within the context of the 13.8-billion-year story of the Universe and Earth. Written, Directed and Co-Produced by Rebecca-Sophia Strong, this work blends traditional stage performance with fulldome cinema, aerial dance, virtual reality elements, and an original musical score, the production brings multiple storytelling modalities into conversation – creating a transformative, participatory experience. Strong’s work invites audiences to reimagine belonging at personal, social, and planetary scales, while engaging in thoughtful dialogue around care, responsibility, and flourishing stewardship.

Together, we’ll celebrate a homegrown vision shaped by curiosity, collaboration, and awe over the past 5-years and premiered in November 2025. Come meet the amazing artists who bring their genius together to explore how this story continues to unfold right here in Boulder and far beyond. Your presence matters. Your curiosity fuels what comes next.

You will meet: Kyle Liss and Mike Rempel: Musicians, Sound Engineers and Music Producers of our original Cosmogenesis® Soundtrack; Nancy Smith, Valerie Morris and Anastasia Timina of Frequent Flyers®; John Keller and the production team at the Fiske Planetarium who supported the film components; and author, filmmaker and creative director Rebecca-Sophia Strong.

Doors open at 12:30 p.m. for tea and coffee. Event program begins at 1 p.m.
