About Katie Wise:

For Katie Wise, music has never been separate from life. It has been its steady current. A classically trained pianist and lifelong vocalist, the Boulder-based singer-songwriter bridges Americana, contemporary folk and sacred chant into a sound that is both roots-driven and expansive. As founder of the mantra-folk ensemble Bhakti Explosion, she has helped pioneer a genre that blends singer-songwriter intimacy with the communal power of kirtan.

Her voice, described as “soulful and earthy, embodying vulnerability in a way that turns emotion into art” by Australian Yoga Life, moves effortlessly from tender ballad to soaring anthem.

Wise’s debut album Lovolution, produced by Grammy-nominated Ben Leinbach and featuring Jai Uttal, received international acclaim from Yoga Journal, Yoga International, Kindred Spirit in the UK, Soul Traveller Radio in Australia and NPR. She followed with Akashic Rock and two live recordings and has toured and collaborated with sacred music luminaries including David Newman, who calls her “a force and presence for those who look to their music for peace, heart, groove and spiritual inspiration.”

She has performed at major festivals including Rocky Mountain Folks Festival, Bhakti Fest, Hanuman Festival and Holistic Manchester in the UK and is a regular presence on the eTown stage. In performance, Wise crafts layered vocal landscapes through live looping, creating immersive participatory experiences that merge tradition with innovation.

She lives in Lafayette, Colorado with her husband and two teenagers who are just beginning to admit that their parents’ band is kind of cool.

About Rebecca Folsom:

Colorado singer-songwriter Rebecca Folsom believes every lyric, note and musical collaboration carries the potency to change the world. With her award-winning recording Sanctuary, Rebecca is on a mission to do that one listener at a time. With her four-octave range she plucks the instrument of the heart with tender fearlessness and fiery passion, awakening unfettered aliveness.

Her album Sanctuary, rooted in folk and gospel, moves from lilting deeply touching ballads to unbridled sing-along anthems. The album is a tapestry of sonic landscapes written with or for marginalized communities, produced by three-time Grammy-winning producer Tom Wasinger. American Highways calls Sanctuary “simply impressive” and “worthy of awe.” Westword Magazine says, “Her songs hit like little earthquakes.”

Rebecca has appeared on BBC television and radio for audiences over 1.5 million, performed at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, The Bluebird and Opryland in Nashville and numerous festivals nationwide. The song “Sanctuary” was a semi-finalist in the 2021 International Songwriting Competition.
