After 41 years in the internationally acclaimed Bluegrass band, Hot Rize, and 33 years hosting eTown, Nick Forster continues to bring people together through music. He is bringing his brand of “guilt-free gospel” to his hometown of Boulder, Colorado with a recurring, community sing-along paired with poetry readings, story-telling, and good vibes.
Nick began hosting monthly Hippy Bluegrass Church “services” at eTown Hall in 2019, leading participants through energetic and thoughtful gatherings backed by an amazing cast of bluegrass musicians.
Start the day together with friends and other music lovers to sing songs like “I’ll Fly Away,” “A Beautiful Life,” “I Saw the Light,” “Angel Band,” and other staples from the genre.
The four tenets of the Hippy Bluegrass Faith are: forgiveness, compassion, integrity and humor.
