Join us for a screening of Artifishal by Patagonia Films.

Artifishal is a film about people, rivers, and the fight for the future of wild fish and the environment that supports them. It explores wild salmon’s slide toward extinction, threats posed by fish hatcheries and fish farms, and our continued loss of faith in nature.

The film will be introduced by Dr. Gary Wockner, who is a leading river protector and dam fighter in Colorado and throughout the world. Gary directs Save The Poudre and Save The Colorado here in Colorado, and initiated the "Free Flowing Rivers Campaign" with the global Waterkeeper Alliance. Over the last 5 years, Gary has traveled to 22 countries visiting, supporting, and writing about dam fighters and river protectors. Gary's local organization, Save The Colorado, is leading the fight against the Gross Dam expansion in Boulder County. Gary will briefly discuss the plight of wild fish in Colorado, fights to protect free flowing rivers here in the state, and describe how film-goers can get involved to protect fish and rivers locally and globally.

We are rightfully concerned about the future of wild fish in our global community. To spread awareness of this environmental threat, impact agency Picture Motion has launched a screening tour of ARTIFISHAL by Patagonia Films.
