Laura Faye Tenenbaum is an Innovator in Science Communication and a member of the Earth Science Communications Team at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where she creates content for NASA’s Global Climate Change website and the “Earth Right Now” blog. She develops original videos and interactive new media products to engage and educate students, teachers, and professionals in climate and environmental science. Nowadays she is currently working at NASA on their project called Oceans Melting Greenland (OMG).

Dr. Steven C. Amstrup – Polar Bears International

Dr. Steven C. Amstrup is the chief scientist for Polar Bears International. Prior to joining PBI, he led polar bear ecology research in Alaska for thirty years. In 2007, he led a USGS research team in production of the nine reports that became the basis for the 2008 decision by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior to list polar bears as a threatened species. In 2012, he was awarded the Indianapolis Prize, considered the Nobel Prize of animal conservation.
