Rickie Lee Jones: Artist-in-Residence at eTown Hall

Rickie Lee Jones will be our Artist-In-Residence, beginning December 8 at eTown Hall

We’re honored to welcome Rickie Lee Jones to eTown Hall as our next Artist-in-Residence.

Across several days in Boulder this December, Rickie Lee will explore her artistry through collaboration both at eTown Hall and within our community, culminating in a live eTown taping on December 9 and a special concert on December 11. To close the week, she joins Nick Forster on December 12 for Insights & Inspirations, an intimate evening of conversation, audience Q&A and a few songs woven throughout.

For decades, she has inspired audiences around the world with her fearless storytelling and creativity. Her residency at eTown continues that legacy of innovation and connection, inviting fans to share in the spirit of discovery that defines eTown.

We will share the full residency details soon.

About Rickie Lee Jones

Rickie Lee Jones is an American musician, storyteller and two-time Grammy winner who has been shaping pop culture for decades, beginning with her star-making self-titled debut, followed by the seminal Pirates. Named the “premiere song-stylist and songwriter of her generation” by The New Yorker and “The Duchess of Coolsville” by Time magazine, Jones released her Grammy-nominated album Pieces of Treasure in 2023, a reunion with producer Russ Titelman, who helmed her first two records.

Her celebrated memoir Last Chance Texaco was named Book of the Year by MOJO and appeared on Best of Year lists by NPR, Pitchfork, and more. The Independent writes, “There has always been something defiant about Rickie Lee Jones… a voice from a dream, elusive yet familiar, transcendent, a messenger from another place.”
