Homevibe & eTown present Courtney Hartman Album Release Show with Alexa Wildish

The debut album from singer/songwriter Courtney Hartman, Ready Reckoner opens with theunderstated yet undeniable glory of “Hollow,” a track whose title traces back to her recentfascination with the concept of resonance. “The definition is perfect: ‘a resounding from the sidesof a hollow instrument of music; a sound returned,’” says Hartman, who wrote “Hollow” whilewalking the Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile pilgrimage route across Spain. “This whole recordcomes from a hollowing-out within myself—from being quiet and learning to listen again, allowingspace for a resonance.”

Homevibe & eTown present Seth Walker and Ezra Bell

“Are You Open?” Seth Walker sings on his transfixing new album of the same title. More than just a question, it’s a challenge, an invitation, a dare. “To me, being open means being vulnerable and exposed,” explains Walker, “but that’s where the little nuggets of creative gold come from. I never planned an overall concept for this record, but each of these songs seemed to spin out from asking myself that one simple question.”
