This week in eTown, Grammy Award-winning blues multi-instrumentalist Delbert McClinton returns to the show for the first time in almost 15 years (his last visit was in 2003) to share tunes from his latest release ‘Prick of the Litter’. Also joining us is blues and soul singer/songwriter and guitarist Robert Finley. Hailing from Louisiana, Finley mixes a Memphis-to-Texas electric southern grit with Nashville-clever songs. He’s gangly and graceful with an indomitable smile that radiates beneath his black ridge-top hat. “I don’t believe in doing a lot of holding back,” Finley says, “I’m going to give you everything I’ve got.” All of this, plus Nick Forster sits down with Chris Pallister of Gulf of Alaska Keeper to learn how his organization is protecting the waters and habitat of the Northern Gulf of Alaska by cleaning up marine debris in Prince William So
